In front of the Rano Raraku Volcano, is this Ahu, which is the largest and best known of all those on Easter Island. In the Ahu Tongariki you can find 15 Moais on a platform. These were restored after a tsunami in 1960 scattered them a hundred meters inland.
Take the road to Anakena, turn right at the Rano Raraku sign, following the coastal path. Passing another Rano Raraku sign, you are on the shore side a few hundred meters away. Parking on the left side.
From here you can also enjoy a beautiful view of the Ranu Raraku volcano.
