Set amidst a scenic mountain landscape in Tyrol’s Thiersee Valley, the Ayurveda-Resort Sonnhof is located at an altitude of 900 metres, a 5-minute drive from Lake Thiersee. This 4-star hotel features an indoor pool, themed saunas, and a range of Ayurveda treatments and authentic European Ayurveda cuisine.
Ayurvedic massages are completed by yoga and purification and cleansing programmes, as well as the Pancha-Karma-Cure. On request, Dr. Sharma from India, the resort's Ayurveda doctor, makes a diagnosis and creates an individual treatment plan.
In addition to international cuisine, the Sonnhof Resort’s Indian chef offers Ayurvedic dishes suited to the 3 body types of vata, pitta and kapha, using products form local farms and markets.
The winter garden restaurant has a classically elegant style, while the Sonnenhof lounges offer a traditional Tyrolean ambience with plenty of wood. Free underground parking is provided on the premises.
