The town hosts a few popular events, such as Martedì dell'arte, which recreates a small Montmartre where many painters and sculptors work supported by the audience in Piazza Valbruna, the heart of a small village overlooking the Riviera.
Baia Vallugola is an old port and Roman city, with a magical atmosphere typical of Valbruna. The nightlife in Gabicce Mare is found in the various pubs and nightclubs.
Many events take place during the summer; one of the most popular is Stella Maris, traditionally started by fisherman, which takes place the last Sunday of May. Another important event is the cycle-tourist week around Eastern, an opportunity for the bicycle lovers to do splendid excursions.
