Lodge Iizuka
Located right by the ski slopes of Iwappara Ski Resort, Lodge Iizuka offers simple Japanese-style accommodation and a shared bath with hot-spring water. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas and ski equipment can be rented on site. A free shuttle running through the ski resort is available from JR Echigoyuzawa Train Station, which is a 15-minute drive away. Guests must get off at Iwappara Ski Resort Centre 2 Bus Stop.
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and a seating area with low tables. Japanese Yukata robes can be requested. Bathrooms and toilets are shared.
Drink vending machines are on site and luggage storage is offered at the front desk. Ski storage is available as well and free parking is provided.
Japanese dishes are served for breakfast and dinner at the dining room. Guests can enjoy Niigata’s famous Uonuma Koshihikari white rice.
Iizuka Lodge is a 15-minute drive from Yuzawa Park Ski Resort and a 10-minute drive from JR Iwappara Ski Jomae Train Station.
