Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre and Spa is set in the heart of the Kromdraai Valley, close to The Cradle of Human Kind World Heritage Site.
Surrounded by lush gardens and natural forests, the elegantly furnished and stone-built thatched rooms and suites are all equipped with satellite TV, a telephone, and tea- and-coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms are fitted with a bath and shower.
Carnivore Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and specializes in game and domestic meats. Vegetarian dishes are also available. Guests can enjoy a traditional barbecues or buffet food around a campfire at the Lapa. Misty Hills also has a coffee shop for light snacks.

Ngwenya Glass: Glassblowing and Arts and Crafts Village is worth a visit, as is the Cradle of Humankind historic site. If you feel like shopping, there are shopping centres in the surrounding areas.
