The Olde Bell is a modernised 5-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Some parts date back as far as 1135 and it has kept some of its original design features.
The Olde Bell is a 45-minute drive from Central London, and 20 miles from Heathrow. The M4 motorway is less than a 6-mile drive away and Temple Golf Club is a mile away.
In warmer months, enjoy local ales and food from the ‘summer kitchen’ in the huge meadow garden. In winter, open fires create an inviting cosiness in the main bar. Free Wi-Fi internet is available throughout. The Olde Bell is a re-invention of the traditional English Inn. It is not a hotel where the rooms dominate, but where the common spaces are just as important. The buildings are almost like a village - the main building for the overnight guests and locals, with others for private gatherings. Not at all like a typical modern chain hotel!
