The Galería de Balmaceda Arte Joven was born in 1998 and since then they have managed to establish themselves as a prominent place in the Chilean and Latin American artistic creation scene.
It belongs to the Balmaceda Arte Joven cultural center and is aimed at emerging artists and established figures of the region, who are a contribution to the development of the visual arts. It is a large space of almost fifty square meters and high ceilings, which exhibits four to five exhibits between July and November of each year. The selection criteria for works - of any style or technique - are professionalism, originality and conceptual consistency.
