The city of Taupo is just a 15-minute walk away, and Lake Taupo is an 18-minute walk from the lodge. The supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and there is a fish and chip shop, bakery and convenience store located closeby.
Berkenhoff Lodge offers a selection of funky rooms including dormitory style rooms, twin and double rooms. All rooms feature an ensuite bathroom with a toilet and shower.
