Cais do Sertão is one of the most modern cultural facilities in the country and is located on the site of the former 10 Warehouse of Porto do Recife.
One of the most modern cultural facilities in the country, the Cais do Sertão, installed on the site of the former Recife Warehouse 10, is much more than a museum to house and reverence the work of Luiz Gonzaga. Bringing some rich and generous soil from the traditional northeastern Brazilian popular culture to the seaside of Recife, it is a space for coexistence, fun and knowledge, a hub for new ideas and experiences.
Using the most varied and innovative exhibition and technological resources, in a dialogue between tradition and invention, the space provides visitors with an experience of immersion in the beautiful and suffering sertanejo universe - origin and source of gonzaguiana inspiration - in all its diversity and complexity. .
