Stage of the first two masses celebrated in Brazil by the Portuguese, on April 26, 1500, on the islet of Coroa Vermelha and at the mouth of the Mutary River, Santa Cruz de Cabrália has a lot of history to tell and a lot of beauty to show.
Built in two planes, following the Portuguese tradition, it was originally erected at the mouth of the Mutary River, but later it was transferred to a plateau because it considered the lowest safe side of the frequent indigenous attacks. In the upper part, there are the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Church, built in the XVII century, the House of Chamber and Chain, XVIII century and also the ruins of a Jesuit construction dating from the XVI century.
It is a historic city that offers beautiful landscapes, such as the beaches of Coroa Vermelha, Paradise Island, the tips of Santo André and Santo Antônio, as well as rivers and seas. They are places where the camera should not be missing!
