In this play it is possible to appreciate the orographic system of Bahía de Caráquez that from the estuary of the Chone River, as well as the navigation movement between Bahía and San Vicente, the game is cut and in the high seas if the large part of the beach (zone active and passive sand).

The visitor will have the opportunity to play volleyball with the inhabitants of the area. Once a year, it is tradition to hold a swimming competition to Bahia. The distraction is complemented by the tasting of delicious seafood dishes.

History

The presence of those who came to the spa showed that the waters of San Vicente were healthy and could cure dolphins and skin diseases.

For this reason, several reports suggested that the Canton took the name in honor of San Vicente de Padua.

This version has been corrected by local historians, who assure that the canton bears the name of San Vicente de Ferrer who is also one of the town's patron saints.

In the last years of the festivities in honor of San Vicente de Ferrer, I have recovered my strength and have summoned the devotees, although the population generally identifies with the name of this saint. The party is celebrated every April 5.

Fauna

San Vicente is rich in marine fauna with a wide variety of seafood such as shrimp, oysters, shell, fish, catfish, tambourine, mullet, eel, pichaguas, weevil, croaker, sharks, ray, turtles, crabs, saw, among others.



In the mountainous part we find guantas, cuchuchos, snakes, among others.

The appearance of the frigates with their red hair offers a formidable sight. Pelicans bands, unique pink bouquets in the region, blue-footed roses and other birds adorn the Sky of San Vicente.

Flora

While in the flora of the sector there are introduced species such as botany, summer and a series of palm trees. You can also see ceibos, tunas, palo santo, muyuyal, grasslands and shrubs of different varieties that appear much more in times of rain.
